Whether we like it or not, Christmas is coming...
It's a special time of the year to share our love with family, friends and the community, the time when we reach out to spread good will and happiness! And of course it’s when the Christmas cards start arriving that we really begin to feel festive and christmassy. What better way to get this all started nice and early than by joining in with Festive Friday 2016 – this year being held on Friday 25th November!
Festive Friday, always the last Friday in November, is the special day for everyone in the card industry (and all lovers of cards like you) to send their personal Christmas cards. The idea behind Festive Friday is to:
"create a great sparky first wave of beautiful cards arriving in the first week of December to get everyone in the Christmas card-sending mood!"
Sending Christmas cards to people you may not see regularly is the perfect opportunity to say hello, and remind them that you are thinking of them at Christmastime. Many of us have names on our Christmas Card List to whom sending and receiving a Christmas card is the only contact we have with them; but a card and a few lines that summarise the year gone by, is always eagerly anticipated and warmly received.
In our busy modern world, the act of sending greeting cards has never been so important. Spotting a Christmas card on your door mat, and checking to see if you recognise the handwriting fills us all with excitement and joy. So will you join in on Festive Friday (or if not on the actual day - we're not that strict - then soon after) and help start the wave of 2016 Christmas Cards?
Why not share your photos on our Facebook Page, we'd love to see them.
Plus, to help everyone buy more Christmas cards this year you can save £5 when you spend £25 on Christmas cards at Love Kate's, simply add your cards to your basket and use the Discount Code - XMASFIVER
So why not send a few extra cards this year? Perhaps you've made new friends, or work colleagues, or joined a new club or community project? Add some new names to your list and help spread a little extra Christmas cheer.
Naturally, Kate and the team would like to be the first to wish you a Happy Christmas...
