We are thrilled to announce the arrival of a very special card range designed by the incredibly talented artist, Tabitha Corbett. As Tabitha is a valued member of the Love Kate's family, we are super excited to be able to exclusively stock Tabitha’s nostalgia-inspired, unique new card collection.
Tabitha's journey as an artist has been nothing short of remarkable. With over 30 years of experience in illustration, her roots in the breath-taking landscapes of Cornwall have deeply influenced her work. Growing up on the enchanting Roseland Peninsula, surrounded by the sea, animals, and the stunning coastline, Tabitha's childhood provided the perfect canvas for her creativity to flourish.
"I have always been drawn to capturing the essence of people's lives," says Tabitha. "Whether it's a cherished memory, a beloved place, or the bonds between family and friends, my illustrations aim to evoke those special moments and emotions."
Her passion for art led her to study Art and Design, and later, her own family became another source of inspiration. With her partner and children by her side, Tabitha's illustrations are infused with warmth, love, and a deep connection to life's precious moments. Now, overlooking the dunes of Holywell Bay, not too far from Love Kate’s HQ, Tabitha's art room is where her memories, ideas, and creations come to life. Using ink, pen, and acrylic, she weaves magic onto paper, bringing to life the beauty and wonder of Cornwall and beyond.

That's the journey Tabitha invites you to embark on with her Girl in Red series, a nostalgic reminder of the simple pleasures found in sun-soaked vacations.
"The girl in the red cozzy and hat wandering on the beach and in the sea," Tabitha describes. "A collection inspired by holidays in the sun and escaping the everyday stresses of life, that moment when your toes touch the sand and sea and feel the warmth of the sun on your body and the light that lifts you from the long dark months of winter."
In these gorgeous illustrations, you'll find the epitome of relaxation: days spent lounging in a swimsuit, with nothing but a good book and the sound of the waves for company. It's about letting go of tension and embracing the freedom that comes with basking in nature's beauty. Within Tabitha’s wonderful collection of cards is ‘One Day,’ a particularly poignant piece, inspired by her mother.
"We always used to say, 'One day, we will have an Island,' in other words escape, sit on an island and feel the sun."
